Sharon stands at 6’0”, runs her mile in under 5 minutes, and really loves her morning raw egg smoothies. But not really. She’s actually just a normal sort of girl (average height, average mile, does NOT like raw egg smoothies) who loves reading, talking about ideas she comes across in books and various other places, and-weirdly enough, kind of enjoys drawing mechanisms for Biochemistry. She’d be happy to talk with you about problems, random Internet findings, even your research paper topic. Just let her know!

Sugar, spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect co-advisor. But someone accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction— sass. Thus, Meghan Kamath was born. Don’t let her unassuming exterior fool you, this Psychology major has it all: a quick sense of humor, dance moves that bring grown men to tears, and the capacity to eat food at an inhumanely slow speed. Hailing all the way from Sugar Land, Meghan’s got a heart the size of Texas. Among other involvements, she coordinated Mr. Rice, the annual male Homecoming pageant, but the show was ultimately ruined because the audience couldn’t keep their eyes off of her. Honestly, Meghan is one of the most selfless and genuine people you will ever meet, and is always there to help a friend in need. Get excited, because with Meghan in your group you are guaranteed to have an amazing O-Week!

A senior Architecture major hailing from Ithaca, NY, Marcel is one artsy, classy, half-Asian guy that you will want as your friend. This small-town boy has big-city ambitions and will probably be designing skyscrapers in major cities. Into sloths? So is he. When he’s not busy designing fancy buildings at Anderson Hall, Marcel is usually chilling at Jones (and other random places on campus) with friends. If you need to find him in the servery, you’ll most likely spot him at the panini press, since everything tastes better that way. What’s that song Marcel is listening to? Well, you probably haven’t heard it before. But whatever it is, just know it’s cool. Innovative yet old school, this neat freak, take-charge, late-sleeping, photographing, stylin’, fun-loving guy will always be there for you to offer honest advice, dance, cook, chat or even just listen.

If Elsa and Aladdin had a love child, it would be Austin James. This Prince of Snapchat is devilishly handsome with a face that fills a thousand phones. When he’s not photobombing every picture taken around him or making dreams come true, you can often find him training for Beer Bike on his trusty 2006 Playskool tricycle. Need to spice up your night of studying with a sweet melody? He’ll be there with the beautiful voice of an angel reciting the treasured lyrics of A Whole New World or wonderful German renditions of the Pokemon theme song and “Do You Wanna to Build a Snowman?” Can’t wait for that melody? No worries, Austin can be anywhere on campus in less than 4 minutes even without his trike, especially if Game of Thrones is involved. Although he seems busy, there’s no doubt that he’ll go the distance as your advisor. Oooo Kill ‘em.
